The GFWC Bridgeport Juniors are proud to partner with and support some amazing local, national, and international organizations. Currently, the GFWC Bridgeport Junior Woman's Club is preparing for their 5th Annual Be The Change Ball. For the past four years, the GFWC Bridgeport Junior Woman’s Club has held a Black-Tie GALA, filled with dining, dancing, entertainment, a silent auction, and an exciting prize wheel in support of our recipient. We held our first Be The Change Ball in March of 2019. In March of 2019 we donated to fund a NICU Family Care Center at WVU Medicine Children’s as well local support. In March of 2020 we donated to fund a NICU Milk Bank & Child Life Prep Room at WVU Medicine Children’s as well as local support. In 2021 we were not able to have our annual Be The Change Ball due to Covid and the Covid 19 restrictions that were in place that year. In March of 2022 we donated to WVSU Healthy Grandfamilies of Harrison County as well as local support. In March of 2023 & March of 2024 we donated to Harrison County CASA Program as well as local support.

The GFWC Bridgeport Junior Woman's Club has been supporting The American Legion Mountaineer Boys State & American Legion Auxiliary WV Rhododendron Girls State for many years. Every year we are able to sponsor one local male and one local female to send to Mountaineer Boys State & Rhododendron Girls State. There they learn exceptional leadership skills, a dense sense of patriotism, a commitment to civic responsibility as well many skills.

The GFWC Bridgeport Junior Woman's Club has been supporting local backpack needs for many, many years. Due to our current fundraisers such as our Be The Change Ball and Pepper Canning and past fundraisers such as our Grocery Grab we are able to support our local schools/students with food insecurities.

The GFWC Bridgeport Junior Woman's Club has been honored to be a part of the Mountaineer Heroes of Honor Foundation Golf Tournaments & Clay Shoots. The Mountaineer Heroes of Honor Foundation is a charitable organization founded to provide financial assistance and scholarships to Military Veterans and Families that have served honorably and humbly to our great country.
